Much like the Chevalier, the big-bodied flavors possess excellent intensity as well as plenty of minerality on the detailed, focused, extremely firm and powerful finale that is also borderline tannic. Despite the opulence of the mid-palate, this is definitely a 'buy and forget' Montrachet that will very likely need 15 years of aging before it realizes its full, and considerable, potential.
