Description

Here is a very pretty, classic Dolcetto to take for a spin if you are unfamiliar with this variety. It is deceptively deep in colour but quite light bodied and fresh. The nose is notably floral - red rose - with grapy, blackberry fruit and subtle spice. It is medium bodied, quite juicy and fresh with mild tannin. The length is very good to excellent. Chill lightly and enjoy with charcuterie. Tasted October 2023 Score - 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
