Tasting Notes

The family-owned Casanova di Neri was founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri and has been under the stewardship of his son Giacomo since 1991. The estate has 63 hectares divided into seven vineyards: Pietradonice, Cetine, Cerretalto, Fiesole, Poderuccio, Podernuovo and Spereta. The Cabernet from Pietradonice is a typically expressive, powerfully constructed wine that offers impressive dark fruit, toast, tobacco and mocha notes in a dense, beautifully structured frame.
