Fine and fragrant, mature, nutty, indeed quite a mature and complex tawny without age designation, with nice tannic grip and complex treacly/nutty/caramelized flavours. The palate is sweet, but pleasant bitterness pulls things back into balance. Very good length. Tasted January 2022. Score - 91. (John Szabo, MS, winealign.com)

Tasting Notes

Aromas of fig, dried red berries, and burnt sugar are bright and focused. The deep flavors carry the sweetness well on the palate, offering concentrated notes of roasted fig, caramelized apple skin, and lightly toasted walnuts. Complex and delicious. Excellent.
