Description

Sited in the highest village in the Highlands of Scotland, this distillery offers a subtle dram. Pale amber in colour with an orange rim and aromatic notes strawberry, toffee, spice, honey and blackberry. Flavours of vanilla, cigar and toasty oak lead to a smooth palate, with a long, warm finish. Serve with dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense and sharp. Slightly spirity. Leafy. Fern. Cherry trifle. White pepper.,Palate: Enveloping and warm. Velvety. Cream fudge. A lot of spices. Nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper. Finish: Long-lasting. Warm. Gently vanishing with almonds and nuts. Comment: Quite a muscular Speysider. The perfect dram to buck you up after a woodland walk mushroom-picking on a cold November day.
