Description

Aberlour 16 Year Old is a richly scented and impeccably smooth Speyside whisky. The nose displays aromas of toasted nuts, vanilla and spiced fruitcake. The flavours on the palate offer soft plum, a gentle hint of oak and lingering floral and spice notes. It shows exceptional length on the smooth, slightly spicy finish.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant medium amber; aromas of malt, toffee, nut and orange zest, with sherry, mineral, dried fruit and floral notes; incredibly smooth, elegant and balanced on the palate, with malty sweetness, light smoke and nutty, spicy flavours and notes of dark chocolate, red fruit and caramel, leading to a long, warm finish.

Serving Suggestion

Serve neat in a large glass to best appreciate it subtle and elegant charm. Perfectly paired to seafood tapas or light appetizers.
