Description

The history of distillation in the town of Kilbeggan dates to 1757. This traditionally crafted spirit is double distilled, allowing for intensification of flavour while retaining the distinct smoothness of Irish whiskey. Aromas and flavours of honey, vanilla, cereal and spice are complemented by a satisfying malt finish.

Tasting Notes

Double-distilled Kilbeggan Single Grain pours pale gold. Like a whiskey eddy, its aromas of vanilla and honey ebb and flow with notes of cinnamon and baked apple. The flavours enter your mouth on a gentle wave of butterscotch sending out ripples of cinnamon and baked apple. The finish is silky smooth. Pair with apple flan.
