Description

Medium deep amber colour with a yellow edge. Slightly honeyed, sweetish, caramel-driven, plummy nose with some orange peel notes. Fairly sweet, medium bodied, smooth, intense, spicy, ripe plummy-Sultana-raisin flavours with a lingering, cedar-caramel finish. (Michael Vaughan,vintageassessments.com,Nov. 24, 2018)

Tasting Notes

Butterscotch galore! This sweet and beautifully balanced Brandy, made with PX (Pedro Ximenez) grapes from the Jerez region of Spain, would be dynamite with holiday fruit cake, rum cake, or while enjoying a fine Cuban cigar, or one of my favourite non-Cuban sticks, a 1992 Vintage Rocky Patel. Very impressive Brandy that I'd highly recommend enjoying this holiday season. Score - 94. (Matt Steeves, quercusvino.ca, Nov. 2016)
