Description

Stiegl Brewery has been crafting beer in Salzburg, Austria, since 1492. The flagship brew is a classic Marzen lager, showing smooth and sweet malty character, complemented by notes of biscuit, citrus and herbs. It's an ideal beer for pairing with grilled sausages, pub fare or soft pretzels and spicy mustard.

Tasting Notes

Clear deep golden yellow colour with medium dense head; aromas of floral hops, grain/malt with grassy and lemon notes; dry, light to medium bodied, with flavours of floral/grassy hops and malt, with citrus and herbal notes; lightly bitter on the finish.

Serving Suggestion

Serve chilled with appetizers, sausage, white meats and sandwiches.
