Description

The 2020 Touriga Nacional Reserva was aged for nine months in 20% new French oak. It comes in at 12.95% alcohol. Silky and flavored with blue fruits, this understated Touriga is expressive and fresh at the same time. The structure is somewhat in charge now, though, and this can certainly benefit from a year or two in the cellar, like all the winery's monovarietals. It is a fine achievement in managing to remain so fresh and so expressive. It's fair to say this has some upside, but no matter what, it is another fine value from a winery that keeps overdelivering.
