Description

The Château Bellevue has 270 acres of vineyard, which is the largest privately owned estate in South West France. The wine is based on the Négrette grape. It is the primary grape here at 55%, then 20% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc ... The wine itself is dark-fruited with pepper, smoky, cocoa and blueberry notes. The tannins are formed, yet they are softenable with time and the fruit does come out. It is ready now, but it'll age nicely over the next 5 to 7 years.
