Subdued notes of crushed stone mark the nose of the 2018 Gigondas Les Sources de Montmirail. It's a bright, red-fruited wine, with crisp acids and a taut feel on the palate. Medium to full-bodied, it's unoaked and a bit tighter than many of its peers as a result. Give it a year or two to recover from bottling, and drink it over the next 5-6 years. Drink date: 2021-2026.
