Wow! Now here's great value! The aglianico grape is considered to be the nebbiolo of southern Italy - firm, gutsy, complex. This captures so much of this character for only $15. Great structure and depth but in that dry, grippy Euro style that you need to embrace up front. Expect lifted currants, thyme, pepper, old spicy wood and earthiness.
