The 2017 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Beerenauslese offers a very intense and concentrated but refined and even slatey bouquet of botrytized Traminer, ripe lychee, peach and rose petal. It is very fine, highly elegant and salty-piquant on the palate, with a filigreed structure. This is a gorgeous BA that is almost impossible to spit out. There is so much crystallinity, salt and piquancy here and just 7.5% alcohol. A fabulous BA. Drink date: 2020-2060. Score - 96+. (Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com, June 28, 2019)
