Macleans Pale Ale

Description

Maclean's Pale Ale was first brewed in 1993 and quickly became the signature ale of brewmaster and co-founder Charles Maclean. Using a unique combination of British malts, English Fuggles and Golding hops,as well as a distinctive strain of English ale yeast, the result is a well-hopped, malty ale with a fine balance and flavour.

Tasting Notes

Inspired by England's best ales, with fuggle and goldings hop varieties contributing earthy, woody and floral notes. Appealing coppery colour, with a generous head. Complex on the nose, with cereal grain, coffee, apple, molasses and toasted nut aromas. Medium-bodied, with a creamy texture, and malty notes on the finish.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with grilled rib-eye, pork loin rubbed with herbs, hard cheeses.
