Wellington County Dark Ale

Description

Is an exceptional, full-bodied, traditional ale. A careful blending of three barley malts plus the addition of five hop varieties produce an ale rich in natural malt flavour and smooth to the taste.

Tasting Notes

Modelled after the traditional English brown ale; deep mahogany colour with a persistent creamy layer of foam; showing aromas of toasted malt, chocolate, ripe tree fruit and toasted nuts; dry, medium-bodied with flavours of cereal grains, a hint of chocolate and lovely hops bitterness on the finish which is clean and dry.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with grilled meats, like smoky bbq ribs and lamb.
