Description

A terroir project of 'nomadis viticulture,' Terre del Ving - Podere Borgaruccio takes care of old, forgotten and abandoned vineyards, in this case in Suvereto, a comune in the Province of Livorno, not far from the Tuscan coast. An extended skin-contact vermentino, full on in tart tang and grooving with swagger. Though from the hot 2017 vintage the acidity remains crisp in tact while fruit lingers into secondary accord. So reminds of pinot d'Alsace, like a still wine made as if sparkling, but not. Yes this does incite feelings of Champagne in still life. Works really well and is a joy at the present moment.
