Description

This is light bodied, crisp and spry but it has far more structure, complexity and depth than basic Vinho Verde. So give it time to express. A blend of the two leading white grapes in northern Portugal, the nose is moderately intense with soft fruit aromas like quince, underripe apricot, avocado perhaps and clover honey. Very pretty. It is light to medium bodied, with some fruit and flesh and warmth on the mid-palate, then a dry almost stony finish. Excellent length. Score - 91. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, April 7, 2020)
