Description

Rated 89 points by Wine Advocate. The NV Espumante Bruto Cuvée (Vértice) (this bottle being the 2018 disgorgement) is a vintage blend, with 60% from 2012 and the rest evenly divided between 2010 and 2011. It was on the lees for about four years. The 2011 juice is the same as goes into the upper-level Millésime, although that latter bottling was on the lees longer. The older vintages give this some extra complexity for a very low price point. It is mostly an equal blend of Touriga Franca, Gouveio and Malvasia Fina, with a host of other grapes filling out the last 20% or so.
