Description

Fruit is sourced and picked "as Rosé, from a diversification of sites," notes winemaker Leah Adint. "Having a warmer fruit source earlier for Rosé allows us to turn the machines on." Most of the fruit is Pommard clone, one that lends itself to a uniform style of pinot noir Rosé. The idea is direct press, quickly, for light and bright, as "a great add-on to any winery's portfolio." Ice-breaker, crisp, palate cleanser and opener. Smart and red citrus mellow, notes of basil and orange tisane with just enough salinity to manage the sweet strawberry-based fruit. Perfectly simple and satisfying. Drink date: 2021-2022. Tasted June 2021.
