Description

Longview used all four of their Nebbiolo clones for the 2019 Rosato sourced from their blocks planted in 1997. Vines are cane pruned and trained via VST trellising. Shoot thinned early then bunch thinned twice during the growing season. Fruit is hand harvested and sorted, crushed, de-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel. Only free-run juice selected. A classic pale salmon colour with delicate aromas of orange peel, ripe strawberry and musk melon. Mid-weight with blasts of maraschino cherry, star anise and tart raspberry. The finish is dry, savoury and textbook Nebbiolo.
