Also terrific, as well as a value, the 2015 Gigondas Laurus gives up tons of exotic spices, sandalwood, sweet berry fruits, and garrigue. It's a ripe, polished and full-bodied Gigondas that has sweet tannin and terrific balance, as well as a great finish. Count me in as a fan. The blend is 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre that had the Grenache aged in tank and the Syrah in smaller barrels. Score - 93. (Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com, Oct. 19, 2017)
