An exciting blend comprising Sumoll and Samsó (Carignan). Sumoll is a rare grape native to Penedès. Though plantings are still small, Sumoll has seen a resurgence in popularity as producers have refocused on indigenous varieties. Aged for one year in new French oak, this wine has bright red fruit with a hint of white-pepper spice.[The Berliner Wein Trophy did not include a tasting note.] Score - Gold.
