Description

73% shiraz, 17% grenache and 5% each of mataro and viognier, the shiraz co-fermented with viognier, the grenache and mataro separately, matured in French hogsheads (10% new) for 10 months. The wine has a zesty freshness that is normally associated with white wines, but without any suggestion of green fruit, just the vintage.
