The 2015 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Clemente VII is a powerful, rustic wine. Red fruit, white pepper, sage, mint and iron give the 2015 its distinctive feral personality. I am not sure the searing tannins will ever fully soften. The 2015 is very much a Chianti Classico for rich fare at the dinner table. Drinking window: 2021-2030. Score - 92.
