Description

This vintage of Modus is an almost even three-way split of sangiovese, merlot and cabernet sauvignon. It shows quite pretty and complex and contemporary nose of nicely proportioned blackberry, vanilla, and gentle wood spice. It is medium weight, nicely firm and almost juicy with rakish tannins that need a year or two. The firm, almost mineral mid-palate is truly Tuscan. The length is excellent. Really like this vintage.
