Description

Some of Chile's finest carménères come from the Peumo zone in the Cachapoal Valley. The clay soils and the breezes that blow over the river are important factors for making the variety shine. The other is the change toward much fresher fruit and herbal notes due to earlier harvests that has lent the grape new life and greater tension for lighter, juicier wines. Score - 92.
