Description

Viewpointe specializes in aged wines in this region, and its hard to argue with that idea when it comes to the Bordeaux varieties. This is a very savoury, complex, intense and hi-strung red that shows very lifted aromas of redcurrants, herbs, some meaty character and oak. It is medium weight, just bordering on volatile, edgy and still tannic. But the flavour depth is very impressive. And it will age another five years. Score - 88.
