Borges Vintage Port 2018

Description

Deep dark ruby colour. Very intense in the nose, with the presence of black fruits such as blackberries and ripe black plums. It has a floral aroma with notes of violets and a fresh and resinous sensation reminiscent of mint and eucalyptus. Made from a harvest of very mature grapes, which is clearly revealed by the complexity of the aromas. With a balanced attack between sweetness and acidity, its flavour perfectly reveals the aromatic sensations prolonged in a very persistent finish. Very full-bodied in the mouth, with structure and very soft tannins. Recommended serving temperature: 16 to 18 °c. A vintage that may be enjoyed on its own, but is also excellent with fatty cheeses and desserts of chocolate or red fruits.
