Description

This is 100% Bastardo, a grape thought to have been extinct until recently. During 'Canteiro' aging Bastardo oxidizes faster when compared to other wines from Madeira. Two different types were used in this blend: one made by skin contact fermentation in 2010 (Cask of 400 liters) and the other by direct pressing in 2012 (Cask of 700 liters) that resulted in 1700 bottles of this wine being produced; all numbered. Total sugar 76g/L.
