Description

The aromatic qualities of this lager are enhanced by steeping with fresh hops as it undergoes a cold maturation. Enjoy citrus and floral aromas with notes of toasted nut and roast coffee. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel and flavours of roasted malt. Pair with bratwurst and soft pretzels.

Tasting Notes

Clear deep amber colour with creamy head; aromas of citrus, roast coffee, dark fruit, nutty tones with a light floral hop note; dry, medium to full bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel, a slightly sweet fruit center, flavours of dark fruit, soya sauce, roasted grain, burnt wood, with notes of roast coffee, dark chocolate and a pleasant bitter note on the long finish.

Serving Suggestion

Quite versatile; great on its own or try with slow cooked meats, roasts and even chocolate or coffee based desserts.
