Description

This is the second vintage of this stylish, impressively packaged Garnacha from Tudelilla in the Ocón Valley, grown on very stony soils at 540 metres of altitude. The vines, planted in 1982, aren't old by the standards of the Rioja Oriental, but there's plenty of concentration here, with sappy red fruits, some Mediterranean herbs and subtle oak.
