Tasting Note: The 2015 Torrontés Serie A is produced with grapes from Cafayate in Salta, in collaboration with José Luis Mounier, a Mendoza winemaker who moved to Salta a long time ago and turned into the Torrontés guru. It fermented in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts. There are perfumed notes with hints of talcum powder and dry roses, spices with citric hints and closer to a Gewurztraminer than a Moscatel. This is sharp and elegant, harvested early, without much maceration, and a tasty, almost salty finish. A noteworthy Torrontés. Score - 90. (Luis Gutiérrez, robertparker.com, Dec. 30, 2016)
