Among the greatest of Australia's contributions to the wine world is undoubtedly their exciting take on famous Rhône blends, such as those from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. GSM blends of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro (Mourvèdre) from the Barossa are incredibly popular. This one will deliver the typical bold, spicy, ripe and dense character for which Aussie versions are known. They are also famously velvety and vibrant. Enjoy with grilled meats or hearty winter stews.
Tasting Note: A blend of grenache, shiraz and mourvèdre (or mataro, as it's often called in Australia). Medium-weight, with polished texture and integrated tannins yet a lively, crisp spine, delivering flavours of plum, licorice and black pepper. Score - 90.
