Tasting Note: The 2011 Vega Moragona La Duna is a single vineyard bottling - the parcel located east of Casa de Haro and populated by 40-year-old vines. It sees 10 months in French and American oak of which 20% is new. Its lovely bouquet of vibrant red berries, mint chocolate chip and vanilla is well-defined and focused, while the palate is very well-balanced with ripe, smooth, fleshy tannins, well-judged acidity and a seamless, cashmere finish. This is certainly a very classy number. Excellent. Drink now-2017. Score - 91. (Neal Martin, robertparker.com, April 2013)
