Tasting Note: Distilleria Varnelli has been producing spirits since 1868 on the slopes of the Sibillini Mountains in the Marche Region. In 1950 this product was first awarded the 'Best Italian Dry Anise'. Clear, colourless, the floral nose is pure aniseed with fresh cucumber and notes of cumin. Balanced, quite dry and full of the licorice-like flavours of aniseed, it's a well-made, high quality dry anise. Sip it straight or add water and ice for a refreshing cocktail.
