Deep, vivid crimson-purple; the bouquet is attractive, but it is the length and balance of the intense, medium-bodied palate that sends the taste buds into overdrive with spice, pepper and sage underlying the majestic array of black cherry, blood plum and blackberry fruits; the tannins and oak balance is immaculate.
