Tasting Note: Dark garnet towards royal purple, medium- to full-bodied, with soft tannins and reflecting its time in oak with a light spiciness that continues from first attack to the generous finish. Opens with red currants and blueberries, goes on to show traditional blackcurrant and blackberry fruits, those with hints of citrus peel and stony minerals.
