Tasting Note: Let's get the technical information out of the way. This is a blend of corvina veronese (45%), corvinone (30%), rondinella (20%), and croatina (5%) from the Montegradella vineyard. It's aged 18-24 months in tanks and large oak casks, then bottle-aged a minimum four months. What you get for this effort is a really lovely wine with impressive flavour and texture. There's plenty of complexity in the fruit, where things are well focused and defined. The texture brings the acid into play, and here it's bright and positive, pulling the fruit with it. The tannins are drying rather than gripping, giving the wine some astringency. It's drinking very well now and will hold its appealing freshness to the end of the decade. Score - 4.5 Stars (out of 5). (Rod Phillips, Winepointer Newsletter, Nov. 2016)
