Tasting Note: The Mavrodaphne grapes originate from vineyards that are located in hillsides over the gulf of Patras. The grapes are macerated and the fermentation is stopped with the addition of alcohol. Ageing takes place in oak barrels for at least one year. The wine has a deep red colour with aromas of red dried fruits, laurel, chocolate and coffee. It is a rich and succulent full bodied sweet red wine.
