Tasting Note: It was in 1725 that Irishman Thomas Barton settled in Bordeaux to start his company, which is today the city's oldest winehouse still in activity. This solid wine offers a taste of modern history at a great price, showing savoury and spicy notes, dark berry fruit and structured tannins. Pair with firm cheeses or herbed, grilled-rare steaks.
