Tasting Note: One of the few non-varietal Tempranillo in Toro, the 2011 Tinto Iturria has 10% Garnacha. The wine fermented with natural yeasts and went through malolactic in barrels where it matured for 14 months. It has a fresh and balanced nose with just enough fruit, earth and spice. The palate is elegant with fine tannins and some oak-related flavors that should integrate with little bit of time in bottle. This is very good value. Drink Date: 2015-2019. Score - 91.
