The Nonino family pioneered the practice of distilling single grape varieties to create sophisticated and refined grappas with distinct character. F. Paul Pacult awarded this grappa a rating of 4 Stars (out of 5) in his 2008 publication Kindred Spirits 2, calling it 'succulently sweet and stunningly ripe and compelling ... a svelte, sinewy grappa which is more elegant than powerful, but that's not to say that there isn't some fire in the hole.'
