Tasting Note: A perennial favourite at Vintages, this wine is aged for 10 months in French oak. It opens with aromas of blackberry, black plum, currants, balsamic and smoke. The palate is finely structured and offers plenty of dark fruit, smoke, spice and an emerging menthol note towards the finish. Pour it with blackened or smoked meats. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2017)
