Tasting Note: This wine comes from vineyards high in the foothills of the Andes on the San Juan de Pirque farm. It offers plenty of fig, fresh and dried dark berry fruit and a subtle, stony mineral component. There's a creaminess to the palate, which is uplifted by supportive tannins. A sprinkling of spice emerges on the finish. (Vintages panel, Jan. 2016)
