Tasting Note: The 2013 Sacravite is an IGT expression of Aglianico executed in a soft and approachable style. You can sense the freshness of fruit on hand and the wine offers round tones of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. At its core is a super bright point of wild-berry fruit that almost recalls the intensity and purity of Pinot Nero. In fact, the finish is floral and clean with violets, lavender and red rose. This is a terrific, easy-drinking wine and a great value. I highly recommend it, especially as a pairing partner to baby back ribs or roasted duck. This is a very food-friendly option. Drink: 2015-2018. Score - 91+. (Monica Larner, robertparker.com, April 29, 2015)
