Tasting Note: The 2011 Saint Chinian Secret du Dieu is made from 40% Syrah, 40% Carignan and 20% Grenache. As with the 2012s, the standard practice here is to age the Grenache and Mourvedre in stainless steel and the Syrah and Carignan in new barrels. Showing plenty of toast, licorice, spice box and kirsch and blackberry fruit, this medium-bodied, nicely textured effort is ready to go now, yet should evolve gracefully for 4-6 years, if not longer. Drink Date: 2014-2020. Score - 91. (Jeb Dunnuck, robertparker.com, April 29, 2014)
