Tasting Note: The regional name of the grape variety here, Fendant (a.k.a. Chasselas), comes from the French word 'fendre' (to split), suggesting plump ripe grapes that burst open with applied pressure from your fingers. This wine is pretty and floral, with a touch of spritz and flavours of apple, yellow cherry and citrus. An ideal pairing for raclette and fondue. (Vintages panel, Feb. 2017)
