Tasting Note: The first thing that strikes me about this is the intense, pure cassis on the nose. It's very attractive. The palate is more complex, with meaty undertones and lots of quality oak, but the black currant fruit is there, too. This is an unabashedly full bodied, intense, and commercially appealing wine, and very well done in that style. Score - 90. (Craig Pinhey, winealign.com, July 17, 2017)
