Tasting Note: This is named after the tool used to loosen the top layer of ground in peat harvesting. Pale golden colour, with aromas of honey and vanilla, accented by apple, dried fruit, leather, citrus, light floral and peat smoke. Sweet and spicy on the palate with pronounced peat and charred wood flavours on a long, smooth finish.
Serving Suggestion: The smoky and spicy flavours of this dram would be complemented when paired with smoked meats and fish, or charcuterie.
